Sup Wilderlands, this Zita (Simmons's player) bringing in a second character.
Kevin Ingstrom is a vampire from the year 2009 in a world slightly to the left of ours and a lot more grimdark. He looks (and, psychologically, is) 17 but has been kicking around for an extra 10 years on top of that. Polite vampire society considers him an idiot, but he's a harmless and therefore ignorable idiot, so he gets to keep on existing as long as he doesn't piss off anybody important. Kevin never wanted to be a vampire, it just kind of happened to him and now he has to deal. Recently, all signs started pointing to the world ending with Kevin and his unfortunate vampire friends at the epicenter. So, he's kind of worried about that.
He's a surprisingly goodnatured and chill person for a vampire, a 90s kid, an avid skateboarder (who posts shitty night skating videos on early Youtube), and that unfortunate kind of person who calls extremely dangerous people "dude" on pure reflex.
Other players and I have been kicking around the logistics of how he'll function here. There are players who are pretty sure their characters will help him out re: the whole blood drinking thing in as noncreepy a way as we can deal with it, so if you're worried about that being sprung on you don't worry, you're safe. He's going to end up being aboveboard and upfront about this because that's the kind of kid he is when he doesn't have older vampires around to gut him for it.
Still, if you have any concerns about him/grimdark Vampire: the Masquerade nonsense at all, I have an HMD/Opt Out for Kevin here.
