MOD ANNOUNCEMENT: MINOR AC TWEAK

MOD ANNOUNCEMENT: MINOR AC TWEAK

Due to the pace of the game and strong activity, the mods have decided to make a small tweak to the plot credit proof for AC as we don't want to make the AC too lenient.

The current rule for plot credit proof is as follows:
PLOT CREDITS

A plot credit shows a character's participation in a plot log. The character must have posted at least (3) comments in the log to qualify.

Multiple threads from the same plot can qualify for multiple plot credits.

Plot credits can be earned on network posts when said posts are tagged by the mods as being part of the plot.

If a player wants to use a plot credit from a "free-for-all" post in a plot (see: the GAME MECHANICS page for a description of these posts), the amount posted in a thread only has to be (2) comments, due to the thread-jumping, group-thread nature of these logs.
We will be removing the "free-for-all" proof that allows only 2 comments. We feel that the number of posts that are eligible as plot credits (that only require (3) comments from a player) will be liberal enough to provide many opportunities for threads to be eligible for the decreased comment count plot credits allow for a proof. Instead, the plot credit rule will now be the following:
PLOT CREDITS

A plot credit shows a character's participation in a plot log. The character must have posted at least (3) comments in the log to qualify.

Multiple threads from the same plot can qualify for multiple plot credits.

Plot credits can be sometimes be earned on network posts. Both log and network posts that will be eligible for plot credits will tagged by the mods with the "!plot credit eligible" tag.
Since this is a minor tweak, and there is still a month in the AC period with which to make AC, we will not be leaving it open for discussion with players. However, if the mods ever feel the AC needs to be changed with more major changes, or want to change something with shorter notice, we'll discuss it with the playerbase first to make sure everyone finds a reasonable compromise.

Alternately, if players ever feel the AC is somehow unreasonable and want to open discussion on it, please feel free to contact us on the Mod Contact or discuss it during under the mod comment on gamewide HMDs.

Feel free to ask the mods any questions or discuss anything below.
